Kenya Arrests Suspect in Scheme to Recruit Men for Russia-Ukraine War

Kenya has made a significant arrest in an Ethiopian border town related to a troubling scheme in which Kenyan men were allegedly duped into fighting in the Russia-Ukraine war. This arrest follows an intelligence report from Kenyan authorities indicating that more than 1,000 Kenyan citizens have been trafficked for the conflict, raising serious concerns about human trafficking and exploitation amid the ongoing war.
