Iconic James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Resurrected to Astonishing £1M Value After Decades of Neglect

A legendary 1960s Aston Martin DB5, once a relic on a driveway where neighborhood children played, has been meticulously brought back to life in a stunning transformation. The iconic vehicle, famously featured in James Bond films like Goldfinger and Thunderball, is now valued at an estimated £1 million following its extensive restoration.

Millenium TV has learned the car belongs to John Williams, a 71-year-old from Mold, Flintshire. Mr. Williams originally purchased the Aston Martin second-hand in 1973 for just £985, an amount equivalent to approximately £15,000 in today’s currency. He last drove the classic sports car in his twenties before work and family commitments led to it being left exposed to the elements, succumbing to rust on his property.

Mr. Williams dedicated £400,000 to fund the ambitious three-year restoration project. Experts at Aston Martin’s Buckinghamshire workshops undertook the monumental task, investing an estimated 2,500 hours of intricate repair and refurbishment work. Now that the painstaking process is complete, the car manufacturer estimates its current market value has soared to a remarkable £1 million.
