MISSOURI CITY, Texas – A Missouri City police officer who was involved in a two-vehicle crash that killed a mother and her teen son has been relieved of duty, according to the department.
The Missouri City Police Department announced after investigating with the Texas Department of Public Safety on the fatal crash that happened on June 20.
“At this stage of the professional standards investigation, the primary officer involved in the accident has been relieved of duty. The Missouri City Police Department wants to assure the public we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the community we serve,” the release stated.
