Iran War Day 104: Iran Retaliates Against US With Strikes and Strait of Hormuz Closure Following Trump’s Attack

On the 104th day of the ongoing Iran war, tensions between Iran and the United States escalated sharply. In a swift response to recent US military operations, Iran launched retaliatory attacks on US bases located in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. These coordinated strikes mark a significant intensification in hostilities, threatening to destabilize the already volatile region.

The conflict surged when the United States conducted an attack that targeted Iranian positions, which was reportedly ordered by former President Donald Trump. In retaliation, Iran not only targeted military bases housing American forces but also took decisive control by closing the strategically crucial Strait of Hormuz, a vital maritime passage through which a substantial percentage of the world’s oil supply transits.

Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz is particularly alarming for the global economy as it threatens a critical chokepoint for oil transportation. Analysts predict that this move could lead to increased fuel prices worldwide and heighten geopolitical tensions beyond the Middle Eastern region.

The attacks on US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan indicate a broad regional strategy by Iran to counter US influence and military presence in the Gulf and surrounding areas. These countries, all strategic allies of the US, have been venues for American military deployments aimed at maintaining a balance of power.

Military officials from the United States have confirmed the strikes but have refrained from disclosing specific details concerning the extent of damage and casualties. However, they have condemned Iran’s actions as provocative and have signaled plans for possible retaliatory measures to ensure the safety of American personnel stationed abroad.

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz, long considered one of the world’s most important maritime oil transit routes, is a bold move by Iran. The strait’s blockage could disrupt global oil supplies and increase the risk of military confrontations in international waters.

International diplomatic circles have expressed deep concern over this escalation. Countries including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany urge both Iran and the United States to exercise restraint and return to diplomatic negotiations to prevent further confrontation.

The conflict marks a dangerous milestone as both sides have significantly ramped up military actions. Regional allies and global powers watch anxiously, knowing that any miscalculation could lead to a wider war that may engulf the Middle East and impact global stability.

As the situation develops, the international community calls for urgent dialogue to defuse the tension and establish a peaceful resolution. The coming days will be critical in determining whether this conflict spirals into a larger war or if diplomatic avenues can be revived to bring about lasting peace.
