It’s an honor to come together to celebrate this powerful month of February, Black History Month. A time to celebrate the legacy, contributions, and strength of people of color and their communities throughout history. But also, a time to reflect on how we can continue to honor this legacy in our actions, in our businesses, and in the path, we carve for future generations.
The National Grand Sheik Cozmo El was the Keynote Speaker at this Event. He brought awareness to some not conscious of their Moorish roots. He received much honors and from the Congress in NY, the Mayoral Office as well. The Assistant Grand Sheikess of The MSTA-NY, Sister/Dr Michelle Ewart Douglas el was honored as well for the works she is doing with the youths and making her positive impact on the Medical Industry as a Professor and Physician. Honors to them both.
