
Connecticut municipalities are gearing up for the third winter storm the state has seen this week, a weather event expected to bring 8 inches of snow to parts of the state between Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

There is a slight chance of snow in the state starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, and snow could fall as fast as 1 to 2 inches per hour in the first half of the night, the National Weather Service reported.
