The Missoula Police Department responded to reports of a hit and run crash just before 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning in the 4500 block of North Reserve St.
On scene officers saw the suspect 34-year-old Heather Bishop of Washington, vehicle fleeing the scene and attempted a traffic stop.
MPD confirms the driver continued through town at a high speed into oncoming traffic eventually stopping in the Hillvew area where the female driver was taken into custody.
The extent of the damages are property damage to a fence, landscaping, vehicle, and more as of now MPD is asking any potential victims or witnesses who had to pull over to avoid a head-on collision during the pursuit to call 406-552-6300 and reference the case number 2024-22084.
A DUI investigation was conducted but there are no substances charges at this moment according to MPD.
