LITTLE ROCK — Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders updated the public on the ongoing recovery efforts in North Arkansas, during a news conference today at Camp Robinson.
“This is something that is going to take us a long time to recover and rebuild, said Governor Sanders.
“But the state is fully committed to making sure that we take care of the people of Arkansas, we’re going to keep doing that every step of the way until we get people fully taken care of.”
She said 300 homes were damaged and 10 people were killed in the storms, that impacted 18 Arkansas counties.
Governor Sanders has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff on Sunday in memory of the lives lost.
