A fatal crash closed a road in Glastonbury for several hours on Friday, according to police.
The head-on crash happened on Keeney Street between Old Reservoir Road and Woodfield Crossing just after 10:30 a.m., police said.
According to police, a car crossed the center line and crashed into a dump truck coming in the other direction. The woman in the car was killed, police said. Police are not releasing her name pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Keeney Street was closed between Howe Road and Bush Hill in Manchester for several hours.
