Police are investigating a crash that injured four people Wednesday afternoon.
Maryland State Police said troopers responded around 1:30 p.m. to the area of eastbound Route 50 at Exit 22 for a reported two-vehicle crash.
Investigation revealed a Honda was traveling eastbound on Route 50 when it stopped for a tire in the road. The Honda was then struck by a Chevy, police said.
The driver and two passengers in the Honda were taken to Shock Trauma for treatment. The driver of the Chevy was taken to an area hospital.
All Route 50 lanes had reopened by 3:30 p.m., according to state police.
The investigation is ongoing.
