It’s less than a month until the Super Bowl but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your game plan going for your watch parties.
Super Bowl 58 will air from Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11, giving you time to plan out your snacks and drink menu for the big game.
To make sure you only have fan favorites for your spread, NCSharp released a study that finds the top Super Bowl foods in the U.S. and in each state.
According to their analysis of Google search data, they found that the top Super Bowl foods nationwide are chili, buffalo chicken dip, guacamole, pigs in a blanket, and spinach and artichoke dip.
The study also found the latest Super Bowl habits and preferences, showing 83% of Americans planning to watch the Super Bowl and of that group, 75% will watch it at home.
What is Florida’s favorite Super Bowl side?
The Sunshine State’s side dish of choice is chili, according to NCSharp’s survey.
According to merriam-webster.com, it is a thick sauce of meat and chilies (peppers). However, it is up to the chef to decide what exactly goes into the perfect chili recipe. Across the US, you’ll see recipes with all kinds of ground meat, including:
- Beef
- Sausage
- Pork
- Turkey
- Venison
- Chicken
What is the top Super Bowl side in the country?
Just like Florida, the top Super Bowl side dish nationwide is chili, whether is regular chili or white chicken chili.
The top five sides for the Super Bowl:
- Chili
- Buffalo chicken dip
- Guacamole
- Pigs in a blanket
- Spinach and artichoke dip
Other side dishes noted in the study were Alaska’s hummus, Wisconsin’s white cheese curds and Rhode Island’s pulled pork.
